Anal Vibrators
As their name implies, anal vibrators are designed specifically for anal penetration. Anal vibrators are shorter and thinner than regular vibrators and feature a flared or extended base for easy removal. Anal vibrators generally measure 4 to 6 inches long with a width that can vary from 0.75 to 1.25 inches.

When using an anal vibrator, it’s important to apply lots of lube to the anus and the vibrator itself for a smooth penetration. With sufficient lube, the anal vibrator should slide in and out with only slight resistance. DO NOT FORCE IT IN. If the resistance is too much, you can try inserting a finger to slightly loosen the sphincter ring. If that doesn’t work, stop trying to use the anal vibrator. Continue the finger exercises regularly over a two-week period to loosen up the sphincter before trying out the anal vibrator again.

If this is your first anal vibrator, then look for one of the smaller-sized anal vibrators or for one advertised as a beginner’s model. Until you have adjusted to the experience and know you can handle it, trying to use a larger anal vibrator is just asking for trouble.
